In the Spring of 2008 I wanted to get Ashley the perfect promise ring. A ring that represented my love and symbolized everything we'd been through and everywhere we were going. I looked around at different places for the perfect type of ring and I came upon the Elsa Peretti® Open Heart ring in sterling silver. I was perfect just like my love. I remember giving her the present in my dorm room Freshman year, and looking back I should have had it ready the day I met her.

That Winter I found a pair of Nike shoes that were designed in a collaboration between Diamond Supply Co. and Nike SB Dunks. The color of choice for the shoes is the Tiffany Blue that the jewelry is wrapped in, and the swoosh is the perfect silver to match her sterling silver ring. So in an effort to match one another in showing our affections, I got an authentic pair from LDRS in Chicago, Illinois.

I waited the whole performance for Matisyahu to beatbox and at the very end to go perfectly in rhythm with Trevor's poem he came out of the darkness into the light. After hearing his Old City Beatbox I had to hear more and it was even better in person. In the second video I had to get into it too, sorry for the flat voice in the background, but it was good. This performance has really got me back into reggae and I'm just waiting for the Distant Relatives Album and Tour from Damian Marley and Nas.
Thursday night is the Jay-Z Show @ Assembly Hall, he's bringing Wale, N.E.R.D., and J-Cole... and I know Wale WILL tear it down. Gotta get my copy of Attention Deficit.
In 2006 when I started listening to MatisMusic I never thought I'd be this close. When he crowd surfed it was cool holding him up, and both artists really rocked the flow. Thankfully this is bringing me back to my roots in reggae, I've been astray with a little too much hip-hop/rap but I have love for both.
